This year will be the 4th running of the Taterbug 30 Ultramarathon. It may be only 30 miles, but it will be run along some of the most challenging terrain in the state. Rolling hills, wooded
areas, and creeks will greet you from the road along a scenic course that winds throughout Switzerland County, Indiana.
Named for the famous Taterbug Hill—the highest point in the county—this race will provide every competitor with a challenge. It is a great distance for the first-time Ultramarathoner, or for an
organized team of up to 6 members that will run shorter distances. Each team member will run 5-mile legs.
The Taterbug 30 Ultramarathon will be run through some of the most scenic areas of Southeastern Indiana. Much of the course will follow historic Indian Creek, later extending to the top of
Taterbug Hill—the highest point in Switzerland County. It will be challenging terrain with many rolling hills, only adding to one’s sense of accomplishment when crossing over the finish
line.
